What is Counselling?

Many people have emotional problems at some time in their lives and feel they need professional help in dealing with them.

Counselling gives you the time and space to see your situation from a fresh perspective. Talking with a counsellor gives you a chance to think about what you can do to change your situation for the better.

It provides you with a neutral environment in which you feel safe enough to explore complex or difficult issues in confidentiality.

A counsellor will listen to you respecting you, your values and your feelings. You will be wholly accepted without judgement or criticism.

Counselling can help with a variety of issues including:

·         Bereavement issues

·         Relationship problems

·         Work-related difficulties

·         Abuse

·         Stress

·         Anxiety

·         Anger

·         Depression

·         Lack of Self-esteem

·         Post-Natal Depression
